Introduction to CNC Machining

CNC machining, also known as computer-controlled milling, CNC machine tools, or numerical control machining, is a precision machining technology that uses computer-controlled digital technology. The main equipment includes lathes, milling machines, and boring and milling machines, and it is characterized by stable machining quality and high precision.

This technology controls machine tool movement through G-code programming, and automatically generates programs by reading CAD files using CAM software. Repetitive machining operations are handled using subroutines. Huazhong CNC's five-axis machining center and five-axis milling-turning composite product package have achieved internationally advanced levels of machining accuracy and efficiency. The intelligent CNC system embeds AI chips and large AI models, achieving a machining efficiency improvement of over 10%. This system is also used in conjunction with five-axis drilling and tapping centers and multi-station polishing machine tools in the 3C industry, further deepening the application of AI process optimization and digital twin technology.
