Aero Engine Integral Casing | Aerospace Engine Case
Precision Electrochemical Machining: Integral Casing, Annular Shell, Superalloy Machining, 5-Axis Simultaneous Machining, Aero Engine Integral Casing
Product Overview
We specialize in the precision manufacturing of aero-engine integral casings (Engine Case), including key structures such as fan casings, compressor casings, combustion chamber casings, turbine casings and interstage casings.
As the load-bearing "framework" of an aero engine, casings impose extremely high requirements for dimensional accuracy, structural rigidity and thermal matching performance.
We adopt Precision Electrochemical Machining (PECM) combined with ultra-large 5-axis simultaneous machining centers to realize the integrated machining of complex annular thin-walled structures, ensuring the coexistence of lightweight design and high-strength performance.
Our products are widely applied in aero-engines, gas turbines, aerospace and energy power systems and other fields.
Core Advantages
1.Ultra-Large Size Integral Machining Capability
Maximum machining diameter up to Φ800 mm
Full-circumference machining of multiple features achieved in a single clamping
Roundness error ≤ 0.1 mm / 1000 mm, ensuring assembly coaxiality
2,Precision Electrochemical Machining (PECM) Technology
No heat-affected zone, no tool wear, no microcracks
Suitable for thin-walled structures, stiffeners and complex inner cavities
Especially ideal for precision machining of titanium alloys and nickel-based superalloys
3,Design and Manufacturing for Both Lightweight and High Rigidity
Stability of thin-walled areas maintained via structural optimization and symmetric machining strategies
Minimum wall thickness up to 2.5 mm, overall deformation ≤ 0.1 mm
4,Precision Machining Capability for Multiple Materials
Support for aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, high-strength steels, Inconel, Hastelloy, cobalt-based alloys, etc.
5,Quality Control and Digital Inspection
Closed-loop control realized through 3D scanning inspection
Each product is assigned a unique serial number with full-process traceability records
Compliant with aerospace-grade FAI inspection and SPC batch stability requirements

Quality Control
Production is carried out in accordance with quality management system requirements such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and IATF 16949, with key inspection items covering case cavity dimensions, flange flatness, hole positions, roundness, wall thickness, datum surfaces, and surface roughness.

Frequently Asked Questions
What information is required to quote a custom Aero Engine Case?
-
Please provide drawings, 3D models, material requirements, surface treatment requirements, quantity, accuracy requirements, and application scenario. If physical samples are available, they can also be supplied for structure and process evaluation.
Can samples be made first for validation?
-
Yes. We support sample development and small-batch trial production. Customers can complete dimensional confirmation, assembly testing, and fit validation before moving into subsequent batch production.
What is the typical sample development lead time?
-
The sample development lead time is typically 7-45 working days. The exact schedule will be confirmed based on the structural complexity of the aero engine case, material, machining process, heat treatment, and surface treatment requirements.
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
-
The standard MOQ is 10 pcs. It can also be discussed flexibly based on sample testing, small-batch trial production, or the planned follow-up batch order.
Do you support the process from small-batch trial production to batch production?
-
Yes. We can support sample development, small-batch validation, and batch production according to the customer project schedule, while maintaining consistent machining standards and dimensional consistency for repeat orders.
